Attended Auburn University, Transferred to Central Connecticut State University in Spring of 2007

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
A graduate of Katoomba High School...Member of the Australian National Team the Quantas Matildas...Played for the team in a six-match tour of Asia the summer before going to Auburn, starting four of those six games...Named an alternate player for Australia in the 2004 Olympic games...Co-vice captain of the Young Matildas in 2004 for the U19 World Championships in Thailand...Standby player for the 2002 FIFA U19 Women's World Championship...Club teams are the NSW Sapphires, NSW Institute of Sport, Macauthor Rams, Wentworthfalls United, Coerver Squad, NSW Metropolitan and NSW Academy...2003-2004 WNSL Champions with the NSW Sapphires...In 2002-03 helped lead her team, the NSW Sapphires, to the WNSL title game...Won the NSW Women's Super League in 2003 with NSW Academy...2001-2002 WNSL runner-up with the NSW Sapphires...In 2001 and 2003 helped lead the NSW Metropolitan team to the National Youth Championship...Won the National Junior Championship title in 1999-2000 with the NSW Metropolitan team...In 2001, at age 14, scored eight goals in one match with the NSW Academy.

Born Leah Janine Blayney on July 4, 1986...Daughter of Donna and Glenn Blayney...Plans to major in sports psychology...Enjoys relaxing with friends, going to the movies and beach and listening to music...Also ran cross country, played water polo and basketball.

What is your favorite soccer memory? Playing For Australia, Winning National Championships with New South.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? My dads chicken stronganoff
What do you like to do when you’re not playing soccer? Play other sports. Chill with friends , beach it and bbq when its nice out.
What is your favorite pro sports team? The Sydney City Roosters
If you were on a deserted island and you could only have one possession what would it be? My ipod
What would be one of your suppressed desires? I think being on the pro circuit for like surfing would be pretty cool
