CURRENT
● Kristen Graczyk recently finished her third year with the University of New Mexico women's soccer program after being promoted to an assistant coach by head coach Kit Vela.
● Graczyk spent her first season as a graduate assistant helping UNM continue the rebuilding process. She brings a wealth of experience to the sidelines and helps make the Lobo coaching staff one of the best in the country.
● Kristen will finish up her Masters Degree this May in Sport Administration.

COLLEGE
Graczyk, a forward for the University of Connecticut from 2001-04, was an offensive machine for the Huskies as she led the team in goals and scoring all four seasons.
UConn's all-time leader in goals and points scored in NCAA tournament play. As a junior, she became only the ninth player in UConn's 25-year history to tally 100 career points.
● Started 91 matches out of 99 played and never missed one contest during her four years with the program.
Two-time All-American in 2003 and 2004.
● Four-time all-Big East Conference honoree.
Big East Offensive Player of the Year in 2003.
Northeast Regional Player of the Year as a junior and senior.
Soccer America MVP in 2003.
2004 MAC Herman Trophy semifinalist (equivalent to the Heisman Trophy for football)
Big East Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2004 and the 2004 New Eng-land Scholar Award.
Big East Academic All-Star and was on the Director of Athletics Honor Roll from 2002-05.
For her senior year, Graczyk was recognized as a UConn Remarkable Individual in leadership, academics and athletics.

● An Albuquerque native, Graczyk graduated from La Cueva High School in 2001.

B.A. in Sport Marketing from UConn in May of 2005.
Her younger brother, Mike Graczyk, currently plays for the Colorado Rapids.

What is your favorite soccer memory? – Playing in a National Championship with UCONN in 2003.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? –Pasta
What do you like to do when you’re not playing soccer? –Play and/or watch other sports.
What is your favorite pro sports team? –Colorado Rapids since my brother plays for them.
If you were on a deserted island and you could only have one possession what would it be? – My cell phone so I can call my mom to come and get me.
What would be one of your suppressed desires? – To travel the world.
What is your major and what do you want to do with it? – Sport Marketing and Business Administration. I want to work in marketing or event planning for a professional team.
