A Soccer Buzz top 50 recruit, Schoepfer was the Gatorade and NSCAA Girls Soccer player of the year for Connecticut... A high school and NSCAA youth All-American, Schoepfer is the Connecticut state record holder for goals with 157 and second with assists with 47... Named player of the year by the Hartford Courant, Schoepfer led her school to four straight Eastern Connecticut Conference championships... Scored game winning goal in the championship match vs. England as a player on the U.S. Under-17 national team in Ireland... Scored four of her team’s nine goals while on the under-17 ADIDAS All-Star team that toured Europe through the Olympic Development Program.

Full name is Kathryn Theresa Schoepfer… Parents are Martin and Mary Jane Schoepfer... Father played basketball at Boston University... Brother Andrew plays football for Holy Cross and is an All-Patriot league three-year starter on the offensive line... Graduated from Waterford High School with a 3.5 grade point average and was on the honor roll every year... Captain of her basketball team… Was featured in the Jan. 16, 2006 Sports Illustrated “Faces in the Crowd” section... She has not decided on a major.
