Chris Bart-Williams - Head Coach
 

The CT Reds are coached by Chris Bart-Williams a former professional player of 16 years, Bart-Williams played for some of the world’s most elite soccer clubs during his career. He is a former member of England's U-17, U-18, U-19, U-20, U-21, and B Teams. Spending seven seasons with the Nottingham Forest Soccer Club, he scored 35 goals in 238 appearances. During the 1997-98 season, his club won the Division I Championship.  The 1995-96 season saw Bart-Williams and his club reach the quarterfinals of both the FA Premier League and the UEFA Cup, two of the best divisions in the world of professional soccer. Named the captain of Nottingham in 1999, he went on to win the Top Scorer honor in 2001 and was named the Player of the Year for his division that season.

After leaving Nottingham in 2002, Bart-Williams went on to play for Charlton Athletic FC, Ipswich Town FC, APOEL FC in Cyprus and MARSAXLOKK FC in Malta. A four-time member of England’s National Team, he won the Toulon Championship in France in 1998.

Chris Bart-Williams holds a UEFA coaching license for levels 1 & 2 as well as a National Youth coaching license.

Shaun Bailey - Assistant Coach
-Director of Connecticut Junior Soccer Association ODP/YPDP Program,                                                   - U-12/U-14, Region One Boys' ODP Assessor and CJSA License Instructor.

-Holds the USSF “A” license and NSCAA Director of Coaching diploma.

-A player and coach in his native England, including a stint with the First-Division reserves of Colchester United FC.

In 1997, he played semi-professionally for Harwich & Parkeston FC and went on to win the Jewson League Cup. From 1993 to 1996, he played for Halstead Town FC and won two Jewson Premier League Championships.

 

Jeremy Wilson - Goalkeeper Coach
Wilson helped the Hawks to a conference championship and NCAA berth in 2006, his first year at Hartford. He was also a member of the staff named America East Coaching Staff of the Year.

- Was a volunteer assistant coach/goalkeeper coach for the Central Connecticut State University men’s soccer team.

- Head coach for the girl’s soccer team at Saint Bernard High School, leading the squad to the finals of the state championship and the school’s first-ever conference championship.

- Assistant director for the Star Goalkeeper Academy and Connecticut Soccer School.

- Served as the assistant director of the Foundation Soccer Club since 1999

- Spent time on the USL D-3 pro league’s Western Massachusetts Pioneers staff.
